Church of the Incarnation, Texas

The window was commissioned by The Church of Incarnation, Dallas Texas for the East Window of a new 450 seated gothic chapel. The window was designed and manufactured by The Cathedral¬†Studios and was based largely on Canterbury Cathedral’s Redemption Window in the Corona at the eastern end of the Trinity Chapel, dating to the 1200’s

It was a successful project in production and in the working collaboration between stained glass artists, glass painters, glaziers, glass blowers and theologians in the UK, Germany and the USA. Each individual piece of glass in the window is a faithful copy of the original medieval glass.

Since this window was installed, the studio has made another window for the church with a 3rd window planned soon.
